Reiki is at the core of what led me to all my healing potential. Reiki is a gentle but powerful hands-on healing technique that uses subtle energy to help people heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It can be used on everything, including people, pets, plants, food and more. I’m so grateful to access this energy for myself and others.
Can you believe I was initiated to the Teacher Level of Reiki twenty years ago this December?! I was so blessed to study for 15 years with my beloved teacher, Nancy Retzlaff, before she departed. Now, we can receive her energy on another level ;)
Reiki is wonderful for anyone who wishes to improve his or her health and intuition, anyone who deals with the public and all body workers.
If you’re curious about learning more, read on for more background and information about a Reiki I class I’m teaching in February. I also have a Reiki video and bio on my website, www.KatiaCooper.com. If you have been a Reiki student of mine before, there is no cost for you to take this course.
Reiki is a natural laying of hands healing technique that was rediscovered in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui in the 1800s. Reiki is both powerful and gentle. Throughout its long history, Reiki has been used to heal virtually every known illness and injury.
All one needs to work with energy and become a Reiki channel is the desire to learn and the commitment to use Reiki on oneself. Channeling such a loving, calm energy is a truly uplifting and empowering experience. Reiki is more than just another healing modality—the initiations create a powerful catalyst for change for the person who receives them. The healing power is then transferred to the student through the Reiki Master by an attunement process.
In the Reiki I class, students will receive four attunements to the Reiki energy. These attunements awaken the individual’s own healing channels, align the body with the soul energy and open intuitive abilities.
Once the student is attuned to the Reiki energy, he or she is able to begin applying healing to his or her self, others, plants and animals. The healer always receives healing while giving treatments, so energy is not depleted. Reiki blends with all other healing methods.
